This customized cylinder is built entirely in stainless steel with a tie-rod head design, external guide columns and machined mounting plates with tapped hole patterns. The guide columns take side load off the rod so the cylinder can drive a platen directly. Suited to food processing, marine and chemical environments where corrosion resistance is mandatory.

A customized corrosion-resistant cylinder for hygienic and marine service. The all-stainless tie-rod construction withstands washdown and salt spray, while the external guide columns and machined mounting plates let the cylinder drive a platen or tooling plate directly without external linear bearings.
Tapped hole patterns on the mounting plates are machined to the customer’s tooling layout. Grade selection, column diameter, plate thickness and stroke follow the application drawing.
